バーブラ･ストライザンド(Barbra Streisand)は, 1942年4月24日生まれ、ニューヨーク出身、歌手、女優。
ベッド･ミドラー(Bette Midler)は, 1945年12月1日生まれ、ハワイ州ホノルル出身の歌手、女優。

９曲目の「ウインド･ビニース･マイ･ウイングス」は映画「ビーチズ/フォーエバー･フレンズ」のエンドロールに流れるテーマ音楽です。たまたま京都で暇つぶしに映画館に入ってこの映画を見ました。パワフルに人生を送る二人の女性の友情がテーマでした。エンドロールのバックに、カモメ（ウミネコだったかも）たちがゆったりと風に乗って飛んでいるのを覚えています。当時のことを思い出すために英語の詞を捜して来ました。曲はゆったりとして覚えやすいので、今でも口ずさむことが出来、カラオケで歌いたくなります（苦笑）。
